Cookies

Kordinert sets four cookies, and all four are necessary to deliver the service you asked for. We have no tracking cookies, no analytics tools and no third parties following you onwards. That is why you meet no consent banner here either.
Why there is no consent banner
Norwegian law requires consent to store information on your device, but makes an exception for storage that is strictly necessary to deliver a service the user has explicitly asked for. Everything we store falls under that exception: without the cookies below you cannot sign in, and the site does not remember the language or the theme you chose.
A banner whose only possible answer is “fine” is not a real choice, and we would rather not ask for consent we do not need. If we ever adopt something that does require consent, we will ask first — and it will be described here.
The cookies we set
All of them are set by kordinert.no itself. None is set by a third party.
- sb-…-auth-token — keeps you signed in between page views and lets the server know who you are, so you only ever see your own choir’s data. Lasts for the session and refreshes while you are active. Deleted when you sign out.
- kordinert-return-to — remembers which page you were heading for when we asked you to sign in, so you land back there. Lasts 15 minutes and is deleted as soon as you are in.
- NEXT_LOCALE — remembers whether you read in Norwegian or English before you sign in. Lasts a year. Once you are signed in, the language in your profile is what counts.
- theme — remembers whether you chose light, dark or the system theme, so the page does not flash in the wrong colour before it draws. Lasts a year.
Other things we store in your browser
A few screens keep a draft locally in your browser — the new-choir wizard, the season wizard, and the ticks in attendance registration — so you do not lose work if the tab closes. Others remember a setting you chose: that you dismissed a subscription notice, and your layout in the score player and the rehearsal mixer.
All of it stays on your own machine, is sent nowhere and is never read by us. It disappears when you finish, or when you clear your browser data.
The mobile app uses no cookies. It keeps your sign-in in the device’s secure storage, and a push token if you turned notifications on.
How to control them
You can delete and block cookies in your browser. If you block them for kordinert.no you will not be able to sign in — there is nothing we can do about that, since signing in is what the cookie is for.
If you have questions about this, write to support@kordinert.no. How we process personal data otherwise is set out in the privacy policy.
